Cast stone is manufactured both by dry cast and wet cast methods. The dry cast finish resembles natural stone and is therefore very popular in house construction for sills, lintels, string course, quoins, copings and pier caps. The wet cast method of production, although less natural in finish does produce products less liable to damage. A variety of different colours are produced by blending crushed rocks, coloured cements, sands and additives.
